Mogadishu Somalia’s minister for interior affairs, federal and reconciliation, Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, received at his office a delegation from International Organisation for Peace Building (IOPB).
Led by Ahmed Abdullahi, the delegation unveiled achievements, challenges and strong determination of working closely with the Federal Government of Somalia in the field of peace and stability.
Minister Fiqi kindly complimented IOPB efforts across all regions in the country, shared with them villages need attention of stabilisation after national army managed to liberate from Al-Shabaab terrorist group.
“[Both sides] agreed to work closely and jointly to double acheivemnets in the prioritised plans of the ministry including stabilising areas recaptured by troops and electing local governments,” said the ministry.
