Mogadishu, The Minister of Defense of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mr. Abduqadir Mohamed Nur Jama and the Commander of the Armed Forces of the country, Gen. Odewa Yusuf Rage, met with the Ambassador of the European Union and officials from the European Union Headquarters.
The Minister and the Commander spoke with the Ambassador in Supporting the Somali National Army, especially in terms of the ongoing activities and how the European Union could help in the fight against the Khawarij.
The officials of both sides exchanged their commitment to strengthen the country’s armed forces and the fight against the Khawarij Al-Shabaab.
The Minister thanked the European Union for its role in supporting the Armed Forces.
