Minister of Information holds a farewell meeting for UNDP representative to Somalia

The Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Daud Aweis Jama held a farewell meeting with the Head of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Mr. Jocelyn Mason in Mogadishu. The Minister thanked the UNDP Representative for his activities related to the support of Somalia’s government during his tenure. The Minister also explained to the UNDP representative the support that Somalia expects from the organization while the Federal Government of Somalia is focusing on stabilization programs in the areas liberated from the Al Shabaab terrorists. UNDP representative Mr. Mason said that he was very happy with the cooperation between the various organizations in Somalia in the field of development during his stay in the country, and he said that the UNDP organization continues its support to Somalia. UNDP is one of the international organizations that support the Federal Government of Somalia, engaging in various development projects.
