National Consultative Council issues a Communique at the end of a 2-day meeting

The National Consultative Council meeting in Baidoa issued a Communique at the end of the two-day meeting, and the leaders agreed on including the Financial Federalisation with two independent bodies of the National Revenue Agency and Commission for Allocation and Acceleration of Income, and the completion of the National Security Framework. The Federal Government and Federal Member States leaders also discussed a one-man one-vote election possibility and agreed that they would analyze the issue in the next meeting of the National Consultative Council meeting. The meeting which was hosted by the Southwest State President, H.E Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed (Laftagareen) was chaired by the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud accompanied by the Prime Minister, Hamza Abdi Barre, the Deputy PM, Salah Ahmed Jama, Jubbaland State President, Ahmed Mohamed Islam, Galmudug State President, Ahmed Abdi Kaariye, Hirshabelle State President, Ali Hussein Gudlawe and the Governor and Mayor of Banadir Region Yusuf Hussein Jim’ale. The leaders issued the Communique after two days of meeting in Baidoa representing their regions and the Somali people in general.
