The local people of Mirtaqwo in the Middle Shabelle region have decided to free themselves from the extremists (Khawarij).
The people who organized themselves were met by the Somali National Army officers and local intellectuals and urged them to speed up the operations in the Middle Shabelle area and liberate it from the Khawarij.
The areas that these forces want to liberate from the Khawarij are Alkowthar, Adan Yabal, Eel Dheere, Eel Baraf, Adaley, Ali Fool Dheere, Iid Ciida, Alaag Mahaday, Magurto and Quraac Madobe.
