Mogadishu The Minister of Planning, Investment and Economic Development DFS Mr. Mohamud Abdirahman (Beenebeene) accompanied by the Minister of Internal Security of the Government of Somalia Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Doodishe had a meeting today in Mogadishu with a delegation led by Diana Janse, the Minister of State for the Development of International Cooperation, the Swedish government.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Ali Bad. Directors and experts from various agencies of the government of Somalia, and discussed points such as:-
1. To strengthen the partnership between Somalia and Sweden.
2. To continue to expand work on investment, trade, security strengthening, economic development and international cooperation.
The Minister of Planning Mr. Mohamud Abdirahman Sh. Farah (Beenebeene) praised the role of the fifth in Economic Development and the sixth in Aid Affairs in Somalia standing by the Swedish government.
Diana Janse, the Minister of State for the Development of International Cooperation, the Swedish government and the delegation she led from that government congratulated the recent elections in the country and the joining of the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Somalia and highlighted the government’s efforts to build a strong economy.
