PM Abiy Holds Discussion With South African Foreign Minister

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed held a discussion with South African Foreign Minister Naledi Pandor today.

The discussions centered on further enhancing diplomatic ties, augmenting economic and trade relations, collaboration on science and tech education as well as on common regional and global development issues.

Following the completion of the meeting, they planted green legacy seedlings within the office of the Prime Minister compound.

It is to be recalled that the 4th Ethiopia-South Africa Joint Ministerial Commission meeting was held today in Addis Ababa.

The meeting was co-chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Ethiopia, Demeke Mekonnen and South African Foreign Minister Naledi Pandor.

During the meeting the two countries stressed on redoubling efforts to expedite the implementation of agreements they had signed in various areas of cooperation.
