Mogadishu, The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, gave a speech at the Mosque of the National Presidency, and participated in the funeral prayer for the Commander of the General Division of the Banadir Police, Brigadier General Farhan Mohamud Aden.
The President said that the Somali people should be united in the fight against terrorism.
“The Somali people today have one enemy that they must unite their strength and wisdom against. It is not common sense for us to accept their murderous actions. Every Somali has a duty to play their part in the fight against terrorism.” The President said.
President Hassan Sheikh said that it is unethical for businessmen to give their wealth to Al-Shabab terrorists, which is what they are funding the plot to kill the Somali people, and the government does not accept this.
