Somali and Turkish companies sign agreement on electricity generation

The Deputy Minister of Energy and Water Resources Mr. Ibrahim Mohamed Ali participated in the signing of an agreement between two companies from Somalia and Turkey on the generation of electricity from the waste of the capital.

The signed agreement was a project to generate electricity from waste in the capital and it is the beginning of the investment of Turkish businessmen in the field of energy in Somalia.

This agreement signing was attended by the Turkish Ambassador to Somalia, Amb. Ibrahim, Minister, MPs from both Houses of the Somali Parliament and the Mayor of the Mogadishu, Yusuf Hussein Jim’ale.
