Somali women are the most talented and hardworking, says PM Hamza Abdi Barre

Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre participated in an event to mark International Women’s Day on March 8 and praised Somali women for their role in the development of society and security.

He congratulated all the women of the world, especially Somali women, saying that they are the backbone and foundation of the family and the nation.

He also mentioned his government’s commitment to protecting women’s rights and their role in participating in politics and social affairs. He said: “The Government is committed to protecting Somali girls, educating Somali girls, raising the economy of Somali girls, and protecting their rights as girls and the one given by God. They are the most talented and the least corrupt.”

He also thanked Somali women for their role in fighting against Terrorist groups that threaten the country’s stability and peace.
