Colonel Mahdi appoints as new Banadir region police chief

Mogadishu National police chief Abdi Hassan Hijar nominated Colonel Mahdi Omar Mumin as new commander for Benadir province police.

 

Mahdi replaces Farhan Qarole who martyred in an operation against Al-Shabab terrorists near Bal’ad town of middle Shabelle region last month.

 

He previously served as Head of Public Affairs for The National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA).

 

Colonel Mahdi also become the commander of the NISA office in the Galmudug regional state where he played outstanding role in eradicating terror groups.
