Partnerships Crucial in Ethiopia’s Efforts to Achieve Durable Peace: Ministry of Peace

Addis Ababa: The Ministry of Peace stated that the cooperation of various partners is crucial in Ethiopia’s endeavors to ensure lasting peace.

A delegation led by Minister of Peace, Binalf Andualem discussed with leaders of the Stirling Foundation in the state of Utah, United States of America about the issues of cooperation in the peace building process.

The delegation also witnessed the humanitarian aid centers in Salt Lake City, the practices of different religions for peace and harmony, and the positive impacts that have been obtained from those activities.

During the occasion, Peace Minister Binalf said that the voluntary service being provided in the province is making a significant contribution to nurture peace and realize a strong state.

Ethiopia can learn vital lessons from this activity in the state of Utah, according to the minister.Furthermore, Binalf requested the Sterling Foundation to continue its contribution in the ongoing efforts to bring about a lasting peace in Ethiopia.

t and Chief Relations Officer of Sterling Foundation, Nicole Stirling said on her part that Ethiopia is a country with ancient history, wonderful culture and values for harmonious relations.

Stirling reaffirmed that the Foundation will strengthen its support for the government’s concerted efforts to achieve lasting peace.

The delegation of the Ministry of Peace also conferred with the officials of various governmental institutions, working on peace building in the state of Utah.

According to the Ministry of Peace, the delegation visited various historical sites in Salt Lake City.
